Square is multiplication of same number two times. It represented by ( ² )

Example:-22² =22×22

33² =33×33

• MATH TRICK:-

It followed by 3 steps

Step 1:- Square last number

 Ex- 462 (last number is 6)

        So             62

                           36

Last digit is 6 fixed and 1st digit (3 )add to the step 2

 462=_ _ 6

Step 2:- Multiply 3 numbers

       Ex- 462

Two numbers are 4 & 6 and square (2)2 is a number

   So 4×6×2 =48

  Add three from step 1

   48+3=51

 Take last digit (1) and add 1st(5) digit to next step

 462= ­= _1 6

Step 3:- Square 1st digit and add 5 from step 2

 42=16

So 16+5=21

So 462=2116

Taking another example :-

              342

Step 1:- Square last number

      Ex- 342 (last number is 4)

     So             42

                    16

Last digit is 6 fixed and 1st digit (1 )add to the step 2

 342=_ _ 6

Step 2:- Multiply 3 numbers

       Ex- 342

Two numbers are 3 & 4 and square (2)2 is a number

   So 3×4×2 =24

  Add 1 from step 1

   24+1=25

 Take last digit (5) and add 1st(2) digit to next step

 342= ­= _5 6

Step 3:- Square 1st digit and add 5 from step 2

     32=9

   So 9+2=11

So 342=1156
